Oh Hey, Friday! 5 Reasons I'm Happy to be Alive This Week.

linking up with Karli for Oh Hey, Friday!

1. I had no idea so many of you would be participating in NaNoWriMo this year! I'm so excited to see how everyone does! There's really just something about trying to reach a goal while knowing so many people around you are doing the same. It's motivating!

2. This is a weekend that is really, truly off. No deadlines, no projects, just a weekend off!

3. I finally found the pumpkin spice creamer. My no-creamer diet was going great, but then...October. We can revisit this in January.

4. Cool(er) mornings and nights. Hey, when you live in Florida, you take what you can get.

5. Feeling inspired. Which has a lot to do with it being October and NaNoWriMo coming up! And the cooler weather..and the pumpkin spice coffee..fall is just inspiring all the way around!

Why are you happy to be alive this week?

  4. I always say I'm going to participate in NaNoWriMo, but then I never even start my novel. Maybe this year will be THE year I actually stick to what I say :)

The mornings/nights here in Houston are getting cooler too. I'm not a big fan of the cold, but I do like having an excuse to wear high socks around my house!

  17. So Autumn has finally reached Florida? Yay for you! I love it when the air gets cool and crisp. I'm so over the humidity. Roll on dry cool weather!! πŸ‚πŸ‚

I'm happy to be alive because I have so many things to be grateful for every single day. One of which is traveling. I love going on new adventures and our next one is coming up soon!

    Have a great weekend.

  24. NaNo! I have a goal to write 50,000 words in November, but they're for novels that I have already started, so I'm not participating in NaNo, I'm just setting the same word count goal. :) I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  27. I totally do the creamer fast and then say to myself, "Why would you do this to yourself????" It's like the cornerstone to my weight control dreams or the dairy-less super-Dr. Oz life or something. HA!
